The Palace of Fine Arts

The Royal City of Kraków has been Poland’s most important wine trading hub since the Middle Ages, situated at the crossroads of major trade routes running north–south and east–west. Today, wine is slowly savored in hundreds of restaurants, bistros, and wine bars lining nearly every street of the Old Town, and dozens of family-owned companies are engaged in wine importation.
The city’s academic character fosters development and openness to a rapidly changing world.
There is no better place in Central Europe to host SKIN CONTACT – the artisan wine salon.

SKIN CONTACT KRAKÓW is a concept that reaches far beyond the winemaking technique of skin maceration. At its heart lies connection — sensory, emotional, and intellectual — between creators and audiences, wine and art.
It is therefore our great honour to invite our guests to a unique wine tasting held among masterpieces from the Estreicher Family Collection, presented by collaboration with the Society of Friends of Fine Arts in Kraków.
The collection features works by:
Alfons Karpiński, Jacek Malczewski, Józef Mehoffer, Teodor Axentowicz, Stanisław Wyspiański, Stanisław Dawski, Stanisław Kamocki, Władysław Jarocki, Damazy Kotowicz, Tymon Niesiołowski, Franciszka & Zdzisław Przebindowski
This confluence of wine and visual art will create an exceptional space — for dialogue, reflection, and enduring partnerships.

Giuseppe Guglielmo, AZIENDA AGRICOLA BOFFALORA
Valtellina, Italy
Beppe performs all the work in his 3.5-hectare vineyard and cellar exclusively by hand and naturally because he strongly believes that Earth and Man are one dimension and that is the foundation of what they are. Through his work, he shows full and unconditional respect for nature.

Matej Korenika, KORENIKA & MOSKON
Istria, Slovenia
Matej Korenika runs a biodynamic 25-hectare vineyard in the Slovenian part of Istria, focused on indigenous varieties, traditionally macerated and aged for many years in large oak barrels: Malvazija, Refošk, and Rumeni muškat. The results of the recent years of work, carefully hidden until now, will be revealed on August 25th in Cracow.

Jesi Llopart, LLOPART
Catalonia, Spain
Writing about terroirs would be a cliché. Jesi belongs to the 26th generation of winemakers in the LLOPART family, working since the 14th century, precisely in the same place on the northern, highest slopes of Penedès. The winery is a co-founder of CORPINNAT – a collective brand created to highlight the uniqueness of sparkling wines historically produced in the heart of Penedès, from native, 100% organic grapes that are hand-picked and vinified on the estate.
